Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you get your units to rent?

We get them from 2 timeshare trading companies. We help people get out of their timeshares and in the process, we end up with extra weeks which we trade into timeshare trading companies.

We have a lot of weeks traded into them, and we pull one of our weeks out for you, when you see one that’s available, that you would like.

Are these nice units?

Each timeshare week is owned by someone who has paid $10,000 – $30,000 to own it… But had chosen to trade that particular week for another resort through the timeshare trading company.

You are paying the price of a cheap motel… But you’re getting a luxurious timeshare. Most have full kitchens, dining areas, a living room, and quite often the porch or balcony and a fireplace. Some of these units can be as large as a 1600 square-foot home.

Why are they so cheap?

I purchase timeshares at the beginning of the year, pull out the week for rentals, and then sell the timeshare before my next maintenance fee is due.

That’s why they’re half-price. But under 90 days you get even a bigger discount. Every time we trade a week into the trading company, they give us extra bonus weeks. These weeks can be used for 2 years but only “45 days out” between the purchase day and the first arrival date. Therefore, anything less than 45 days out, we can discount another $100 for the week.

The trading company also discounts some of their weeks if they are short notice. So you even save more money on the short-term rentals.

How do we make our payment?

When you determine what you want, I contact the trading company to put it on “a 1 day hold” (so no one can take it away from you while we are dealing with the payment).

I then send you an invoice through PayPal. As soon as you have paid that invoice, PayPal sends me a message that you have paid.

At that time I pay the trading company a fee to pull it out, and I gIve them your name as my guest. You end up with a confirmation reservation with your name right on it from the trading company.

Is there a minimum age?

In most cases they require the person checking in to be 21 years of age. That person uses their credit card to pay the refundable security deposit, and is responsible for any damages.

Do they accept pets?

No, they do not generally accept pets. However, if you have a pet that is a registered service pet, they cannot refuse.

If I have a change of plans can I cancel or adjust my dates?

These are specific weeks that were traded. No adjustments are possible, and the sale is final.

I cannot get my weeks back nor the refund for the exchange… so there are no refunds or adjustments.

You must be sure you can go on that date before you purchase it.

Do I have to use all 7 nights?

You do not have to stay for the whole week, but you must pay for the whole week.

If you are not going to arrive on the first day, it is important that you let them know that, so they aren’t expecting you.
